Wind and watertight (WWT) containers have retired from freight duty. They keep weather out and hold a padlock, which is all a storage container has to do — but they are no longer certified for international shipping, and they show it.
What to expect
- Heavier surface rust and multiple repair patches
- Significant dents; panels may be pushed in
- Floor sound but marked, stained or patched
- Doors work, though they may need a shoulder on cold mornings
- Mixed colours and prominent shipping line branding
Specifications
- External: 6.06m L × 2.44m W × 2.59m H
- Internal: 5.90m L × 2.35m W × 2.39m H
- Capacity: approx. 33.2 m³
Who this suits
Hay and feed storage, tool and machinery lock-up, site security, anything on a back paddock. Not the right buy if the container is going somewhere visible or being converted.
Image shown is representative of this container type, not the individual unit you will receive. Wind and watertight stock varies considerably in colour, markings, denting and rust — we photograph your actual container at the depot and send you the photos before dispatch.
Price includes GST. Delivery is quoted separately based on your postcode and site access.
