A side opening container replaces one full-length side wall with cargo doors. Instead of reaching everything through a 2.34m opening at one end, you open 5.9m of wall and put a forklift directly onto whichever pallet you want.

Siting
You need clear space along the full length for the doors to swing — roughly 1.5m. Level ground matters more than usual here: on a twist, full-length doors bind and won’t latch cleanly.
